Jo Schramer is a joyful multi-faceted storyteller with experience in project management, animation, illustration, instructional design, writing, and sequential art. Schramer grew up in Illinois, mere minutes away from a particle collider. Regardless of any effects caused by Higgs Boson particles or unknown dark matter, Schramer developed a passion for storytelling and environment design which lead them to becoming a background artist in the animation industry, plein-aire painter, and independent comic artist. Schramer has collaborated with multiple clients and studios over the past decade under both long term and short term contracts. In addition to working as a full time artist, they consistently engage in personal projects, including comics, creative-writing, folk music, and multi-media art installation
