About this zine
In the early months of 2024, admidst starting a new leadership position at my job, and moving into my own apartment for the first time, I got really invested in the popular fan-theory “Crocodad” from the series, One Piece by Eiichiro Oda. During this strange time in my life filled with new beginnings, I also was processing the past year that me and my brothers have spent trying to sort out the health needs of our aging father. I started making comics about how I was feeling, and then hilariously realized there may be a correlation between my interest in this weird fringe fan theory and what I was going through. So, I started making a short comic which turned into a zine I just published in time for pride 2024 titled “The Crocodad Theory.”
